I’m Teddi. I’m a licensed psychotherapist + maternal mental health specialist based in Spokane, Washington.
I am a Licensed Psychotherapist & Maternal Mental Health Specialist based in a private practice setting in Spokane, Washington.
I’m deeply passionate about helping people of all walks of life pursue wellness. I wholeheartedly believe in the systemic power of healthy individuals and families, and providing integrated care and support for people in their journey toward wellness has become one of my greatest callings.
I received my MA in Marriage & Family Counseling from Gonzaga University in 2016. My husband and I have two kids along with two faithful pups, and reside on the South Hill of Spokane.
I provide counseling services to a vast demographic of individuals, couples, and families, both in-person and via Telehealth. I’m also certified as a perinatal mental health specialist - providing specialized care in the field of maternal/women’s wellness.
In my role as a perinatal specialist, much of my attention is dedicated to helping women navigate the prenatal/postnatal period. My scope of practice covers a trauma informed, whole-person approach to infertility, birth trauma, loss, anxiety, depression, and other perinatal mood disorders - along with providing support through the everyday, ever-changing challenges and transitions that motherhood and parenting bring.
The journey into parenthood can be extremely complex and often overwhelming, and providing a safe space to find support and integrated care throughout the journey has become a beautiful facet of my practice.
I believe in the power of counseling through an integrated, whole-person approach. My framework is based in attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, and cognitive behavioral therapy. I use these theories to help identify areas of growth and lead my clients to greater self-awareness, insight, and lasting, sustainable change.
I am also extremely passionate about nutrition, and the vital role food plays in mental health and our journey toward wellness. With this, I regularly incorporate nutrition in my therapeutic approach.
I provide counseling services both virtually and in-person at my private practice office located on the South Hill in Spokane, Washington.
